English Club meeting – 04.03.10

Sarah kicked off the meeting with the word of the evening  - fortnight. Nicolas followed up with “one of the best jokes I have ever heard in RR [FH]” about the Zen-master and hot dog trader.

Steve presented his experiences and findings while on his journey to climb the Aconcagua. It was the emotion loaded speech with a focus on the responsibility towards others. Nicolas talked about “the power to change”. His speech was around the success of Madonna and Lance Armstrong, and the need of focus and good team.

Dirk moderated 6 table topics ranging for “pick your surname” to “what records cannot be broken?”.

The evaluators provided valuable feedback to the speakers. The event was closed on time and as usual was followed up with a social in the Rolands Eck.
